DECEMBER- A NEW “HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS”

Well, it’s been a full year since I spent the winter down here in Florida and started making major changes to my life! I am happy to say I am almost settled into my “new chapter”. I see this as the beginning, not an ending. Sure the year is over, but my new chapter has just begun! There have been some challenges, and I have a lot more work to do, but things slowly getting back to what I consider a normal groove. Most of the big, tough parts are all done, now I can make life meet my terms! I am unpacked, and I LOVE my new workshop! So much light, and plenty of ventilation with all the windows!

I am currently booking shows, fairs, and events for the immediate and near future; the few that I have done were fun, and they helped me continue to make more contacts and meet new people. I am trying to establish myself as a business here; so any ideas would be appreciated!

I am almost done painting inside the new house, the bedroom floors are the next project. Then I just have some shopping and decorating; as we are hosting Christmas! I can’t wait to have family stay at the new place. I am blessed to be able to have everyone this year!

On a final note; this year when you are out shopping for gifts, remember to “THINK SMALL” small businesses that is; local artisans and small shops need our support! Also, isn’t it better to give someone a gift that was made with passion and love, handcrafted with care, than something off Walmart’s shelf? Handcrafted gifts are one of a kind, they are unique and special – just like the people receiving them!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!
