SEPTEMBER; PULLING IT ALL TOGETHER

September has my head swirling with so many things!

This month is my last month before our season begins down here, and I go back to work full time. Whether it's a season change, a schedule change, the kids going back to school; when there is going to be a big change, we always have that period of "transition". That is what I feel like for September. I am enjoying the slow, summer pace of plenty of time for my yoga, meditating, going to the beach, and having fun. I've been very relaxed and able to be creative in my workshop with some new designs. Because this is the last month of summer, I feel like it's "crunch" time- a lot of the projects I planned for this summer are still not done! Time really does fly when you're having fun! Add to that the fact that I have company coming for two weeks this month, and my mom has a big birthday in September, and I am having too much fun at the beach with the girls! So I am torn between really buckling down and getting things accomplished and making more inventory for season, and taking the last bit of time to relax and enjoy! lol Well, I'm sure somewhere in there I'll find a balance.

Going back to work isn't so bad when you get to watch a sunrise like this! I have put in my applications to all the markets I would like to continue, and I am looking forward to an AMAZING SEASON!

I did get some projects done this summer. I am now starting to list items on Etsy, so in a few days you'll be able to check out my etsy site at terristreasures4etsy. I am building an inventory of new pieces, I will eventually get them on my website. And my booth will have some new items to change up my display! My new banner is being made as we speak! It is a pictorial of the stone cutting process!  Here is a sneak peek at a new line I am creating, they will be doublets, or two stones wired as one pendant!

doubletSo here is a one stone pendant next to a doublet! I cut some nice material this summer.

Now is getting to be the time I have to focus on what's important to finish, and make a plan for that. Get back into a routine better suited for working every day. And take a few more days to enjoy my summer. It really does make your head swirl! But I will pull it all together and find that balance, somehow- like I always do!

Bye for now, I hope the end of your summer is the beginning of a GREAT autumn!
