GENUINE FOSSIL; AMMONITE
Iridescent ammonite fossil is a genuine, Devonian Period fossil. There was a cephalopod creature that lived inside the shell 300-400 million years ago. This is an iridescent ammonite, so it has a rainbow of color in the silvery shell, very similar to the look of abalone.
